Hocking Hills Farm

It all started in the early 1930's...

That's when Clarence and Ethell Smith moved to Pleasant View Farm to raise their sons, Paul and Ralph. Fast forward to present time, we are the 3rd generation to live on the Farm and work with the 4th generation to open it up for our guests to make memories with those they hold most dear.

We offer our Pleasant View Farm Cottage or cozy White Pine Cabin on 80 acres to explore and enjoy.

Hocking Hills State Park

There are 5 different parks in the Hocking Hills State Park group, which are a drive from the Farm and from each other. They are Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Old Mans Cave, Rock House and Cantwell Cliffs.

Ash Cave is 1.7 miles or about a 10 minute drive

Cedar Falls is 3.1 miles or about a 15 minute drive

Old Mans Cave is 4.5 miles or about a 20 minute drive

Rock House is about 9.5 miles or about a 30 minute drive

Cantwell Cliffs is about 12 miles or about a 40 minute drive

We are also a short drive to Conkles Hollow (6.3 miles/22 min drive) and Bison Hollow (3 miles/10 min drive down a gravel rd.) nature preserves. There is hiking at both of these.

Lake Hope and Moonville Tunnel are about 10 miles/30 minute drvie away. There is a swimming beach, boat rental and restaurant at the Lake Hope Lodge.

Le Petite Chevalier winery is only 1 1/2 miles from the Farm.

Cleaning Protocol

You can be assured at your check in this protocol will have been followed:

~all high touch (light switches, door knobs, remotes, etc.) and soft surfaces (mattress and furniture) will have been sprayed with disinfectant

~mattresses have both zippered encasement and mattress pads on them

~all counters (bath and kitchen), shower and toilets will have been wiped with disinfectant spray.

~all bedding, blankets, sheets and couch throws will be stripped and replaced with clean linens. They will have been washed on hot water cycle.

~all floors are swept and mopped

~hot tub will be sanitized.
